Coraline
Coraline is a dark fantasy stop-motion film that follows a curious young girl who discovers a secret door in her new home, leading to an eerie parallel world. At first, this “Other World” seems perfect—but its sinister secrets soon unravel. With rich visuals and haunting storytelling, Coraline explores themes of identity, bravery, and the danger of wishful thinking.

COCO
COCO is a heartwarming animated film that celebrates family, memory, and Mexican culture through the story of Miguel, a young boy who dreams of becoming a musician. When he finds himself in the Land of the Dead, he uncovers his family’s past and learns the true meaning of remembrance and belonging. I love COCO for its vibrant visuals, emotional depth, and powerful message about honoring those who came before us.
Despicable Me
Despicable Me is a hilarious animated film about Gru, a supervillain whose plans for world domination take an unexpected turn when he adopts three spirited young girls. With its mix of humor, heart, and the unforgettable Minions, the film shows how love can transform even the coldest heart. I like Despicable Me because it’s both funny and touching—it reminds me that family can come from the most unexpected places.
